Build your own shelving unit

Modular wooden shelving you design yourself — in 2D and 3D, with a price you see straight away.

  1. Pick a model and a size

    A shelving unit, an office shelving unit or a wine rack — at the height, depth and number of levels you need.

  2. Arrange the sections

    Add sections of different widths, and put a cross-brace or a desk where you want them.

  3. See the price and ask for it

    The price and the parts list are worked out as you go. Save the shelving unit or add it to your request.

The production process

From raw timber to a finished product.

PRIMARY SAWING

Once the timber has been brought to our site, it is sorted by species and sawn into blanks for each product category.

KILN-DRYING THE TIMBER

After cutting, the raw timber goes into a drying kiln, which brings it down to 12% moisture content.

DIMENSIONING

Once the timber has been dried, it is dimensioned to the exact size set out in the specification.

GRADING

Once the parts have been processed to the required size, they are graded into first and second grade and prepared for packing.

PACKING

The finished products are placed on pallets or bearers so they are as easy as possible to transport. They are packed carefully to protect them from knocks in transit and from direct sunlight.

TRANSPORT

Sankevi Ltd. has its own transport covering the whole country. This lets us offer customers delivery in the shortest possible time, reliably and at an affordable price.

    FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification is an international standard proving that timber, paper and other forest products come from responsibly managed, environmentally sound and socially equitable forests. It guarantees traceability of the material from the forest to the end customer.
